Gordon Adams brings 25 years of planning, political and delivery experience in the UK and abroad to his role as a columnist. He has worked on or coordinated some of London's most high-profile projects — The Shard, One Blackfriars, the £1.2 billion London Bridge Station redevelopment — and spent 12 years as Head of Planning for Battersea Power Station Development Company. His public sector career includes Southwark Council, advising Mayor Boris Johnson at City Hall, and two terms as an independent planning committee member at the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation. He now leads CROOBLE Urban Advisory, specialising in complex real estate projects from inception to planning.
